As the St. Louis County Council continues to deliberate spending of American Rescue Plan Act federal relief money, Councilwoman Clancy pushed back on an attempt by some of her colleagues to meet behind closed doors. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch Editorial Board shared Clancy’s concern about a lack of transparency and praised her for her push to keep the meetings public. 

“Credit goes to council member Lisa Clancy for raising objections. “That committee [working group] absolutely cannot do its work in secret. These have to be public meetings,” she said Saturday.”

Welcome, Silas!


Councilwoman Clancy is proud to announce the arrival of her newest constituent (and son) Silas.

In a statement on June 10, 2021 Clancy said: Good morning to my newest constituent— Silas! We welcomed him into the world yesterday afternoon and all is so well. We’ve got a great view of Forest Park from our room and he’s ready to love on this town with the rest of us. Thank you for all the well wishes!

 

Women’s Foundation of Greater STL Recognizes Clancy for Work Advocating for Childcare
